Dolph,
I hadn't thought of that in years. What a joke! My folks used to beat our asses if we got more than 3 answers wrong.
So we cheated, filled in the answers as they reviewed.

Are these PETA people nuts?
by Thunder Rider inthe link below is to the peta sight and a page aimed at kids.
i heard about it on the radio yesterday, but didn't believe it to be true.
i'm all for treating animals humanely but if this is what happens to your judgement when you cut all meat out of your diet, then i'mgoing out for a burger.

Perhaps the influence of the pain meds I took yesterday left me unable to get my point across. My problem was not with the vegan lifestyle at all, rather with the PETA folks using the jolly old elf and his Santas little helper to make a case for milk induced impotence!
I guess nothing is sacred anymore.

Well my friends I really did it today. I went to a clients home today to leave a note to arrange to pick up a check. I couldn't make it up the drive because it was ice and snow covered. I parked the truck and shut it off.
I took a moment to write a note and apply a piece of tape to stick it to the door. I then opened the door and stepped out.
Mr. GMC decides at that moment to slide down the hill into the street. It caught me off gaurd and knocked me to the ground. My right arm struck the door as it passed over me and left a really nasty bruise. I figure to be sore all over tomorrow but should be fine otherwise.
I must have a guardian angel watching over me. I wonder if he does collections?

I'm so excited! Got the proof for my book cover today!
by SanFranciscoJim inwell, it's been a long time coming, but my publisher just sent me the proof for the cover of my sci-fi novel today, and it looks fantastic!
i wrote back and told them it was well worth the wait.. as soon as they release the book, i'll make a shameless announcement so you can all rush out and buy a copy.
(unless, of course, you want me to come to your town for a book-signing!

X-mas wishes
by Country_Woman inthree year old polar bear victor, was born in the dutch zoo of rhenen.. a year ago he moved to the amsterdam zoo "artis" to be a new companion for a female who lost her mate - in the hope that this would result in some cute polar bear baby's.. .
but no, the mother "to be" died also - so there was no need for victor to stay any longer in "artis", and he moved back home where he was enthusiastically welcomed by one of his former playmates...... .

CW,
Have you ever hunted Polar Bear?
Its fun!
You cut a hole in the ice and sprinkle peas around the hole. Then you hide.
You wait for the Polar Bears to come out.
When the bear goes to take a pea, you kick him in the ice hole!
I'll go hide now! -

This is a very strange question, but I have to ask...
by Country Girl inwhat is the jw stance on having relations with one's wife while she is having her menstrual period?
one of them told me that because there is "blood" it is against god's law, although i never heard that before.

I believe the scriptural notations listed express just that. It was against Gods law for the Isrealites to engage in intercourse during the woman's cycle.
Most of those kind of laws though have scientific and health concerns as their basis. If I understand the workings of the lady's plumbing correctly, during that "time" of the month, she is particularly susceptable to bacteria and infection. And men being the pigs we are, are not always conscious enough as to our personal hygene.
I think if one took the time he could find perfectly reasonable and sound reasons for all the laws God gave the Isrealites and see the benefit following those guidelines can give.
